Development of Digital Storytelling Media with Motion Graphic to Enhance Media Literacy for Undergraduate Students in Educational Technology and Communications

Abstract

The objectives of this study were to: 1) develop of digital storytelling media to enhance media literacy for undergraduate students in Educational Technology and Communications and 2) study satisfaction of undergraduate students in Educational Technology and Communications using digital storytelling media to enhance media literacy. The sample group were 30 undergraduate students of Educational Technology and Communications, faculty of Technical Education at Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi, Thailand in the academic year 2023. They were selected by using simple random sampling. The research instruments consisted of 1) digital storytelling media to enhance media literacy for undergraduate students in Educational Technology and Communications 2) content quality questionnaire 3) media quality questionnaire and 4) questionnaire for satisfactions. The data analysis were mean and standard deviation. The results revealed that: 1) the evaluation of content for digital storytelling media to enhance media literacy for undergraduate students in Educational Technology and Communications by the content experts were totally appropriate at the excellent level (????̅=3.57, SD = 0.29) and the evaluation of media by the media experts were totally appropriate at the good level (????̅=3.43, SD = 0.35) and 2) the student's satisfaction of using digital storytelling media to enhance media literacy were strong agree level (????̅=3.74, SD = 0.49).
