Abstract

This paper discusses supply chain Information model for excellence development plan management for Thai higher education institutions that can store research data, personnel, evaluation results, performance indicators, and indicators of organizational potential of each group in higher education institutions. The ultimate aims of research was 1) to develop supply chain Information model for excellence development plan management for Thai higher education institutions. 2) to assess supply chain Information model for excellence development plan management for Thai higher education institutions. The research methodology consisted of six phases:: 1) Study related documents and research. 2) the drafting of preliminary the research framework for the model 3) Develop the model. 4) Develop a questionnaire forward to the experts in order to ask their opinions on appropriateness of the model.5) Propose the model to experts. 6) Gathering and analyzing data to find the arithmetic mean and standard deviation of each component.The sample group in the study consists of sixteen experts in the field of supply chain and information technology and communication. All experts using purposive sampling method. Data were analyzed by arithmetic mean and standard deviation. The assessment of model using Black-Box technique. Research results show that supply chain Information model for excellence development plan management for Thai higher education institutions comprises of 6 components, namely, Main components, Suppliers, Service provider University, distribution, Customers. All experts in the field of supply chain and information technology and communication concur about supply chain Information model for excellence development plan management for Thai higher education institutions was a high level. The arithmetic mean of 3. 71 and standard deviation of 0.57, which implies supply chain Information model for excellence development plan management for Thai higher education institutions aims to develop an information.
