Abstract

This research aims to: (1) develop a document and expense management system for a construction company, designed for three user groups accounting staff, project managers, and procurement staff. The system’s primary functions include generating procurement documents and receipt records; and (2) evaluate user satisfaction with the system using a questionnaire comprising three sections: personal information, system satisfaction, and suggestions. The sample consisted of 12 personnel (5 accounting staff, 5 procurement staff, and 2 project managers) selected using Yamane’s (1973) formula from a population of 30. The research tools included (1) a system developed with Laravel (Backend), Nuxt.js (Frontend), and SQL Server database, and (2) a Google Form questionnaire. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, including mean, percentage, and standard deviation. The findings revealed that: (1) the developed system effectively addressed the needs of all three user groups by streamlining the creation of procurement documents and receipt records, ensuring accuracy and efficiency; and (2) the user satisfaction assessment demonstrated a high satisfaction level, with an average score of 4.52 out of 5 and a standard deviation of 0.44, aligning with the research objectives.
