Abstract

Astronomy is the science that studies objects in the sky (such as stars, planets, comets, and galaxies) as well as natural phenomena that occur outside the Earth's atmosphere. By studying evolution Physical, chemical, meteorological characteristics and the movement of objects in the sky as well as the origin and evolution of the universe. However, learning astronomy requires equipment or teaching materials which is sometimes expensive. The researcher therefore developed a website using virtual reality technology about astronomy and space, with the objective of 1) develop a website for learning and using virtual reality technology about astronomy and space and 2) to study satisfaction with virtual reality technology websites about Astronomy and space, enhancing learning skills, it can make the students understand what they are learning very much. The target group is High school students who are interested in astronomy and space using a random sample selection method. The research results found that 1) evaluation results from technical experts in ̅ = 4.13 S.D. = 0.55) 2) evaluation website development overall at a very good level ( X results from website development content experts overall, it is at a very good level ( ̅ = 3.98 S.D. = 0 . 23) and 3) evaluation results from the sample group regarding X ̅ = 4.56 S.D. = 0.15). satisfaction with the website overall, it's at the best level ( X
