Abstract

This research presents the development of Seabass farm Information management system with Google Maps technology : A case study of Ban Bo Suan in Hua Khao Sub-district, Singhanakhon Municipality, Songkhla Province. The system was analyzed and designed by integrating with the Google Maps API as a web application. It provides convenience for managing the basic information of sea bass farming. The developed system follows the steps and processes of the SDLC Waterfall Model system development cycle theory, serving as a guideline for problem analysis, system design, and development. The database of the system consists of information tables of farms, locations and farm photos. The system was tested using the Black Box Testing method, and its performance was evaluated by experts in system development and information technology across various aspects. The results demonstrated the successful development of a data management system that caters to the specific requirements of farmers. The system efficiently presents key information such as farm size, number of cages, location coordinates, fish quantity, fish size, and accompanying photos for concise report summary viewing. Furthermore, a performance test was conducted by a group of 5 experts in system development and information technology. Their evaluation focused on assessing the system's efficiency, ease of use, and security measures. The findings revealed that the system achieved a high level of efficiency based on the average evaluation score (x̄=4.16, S.D.=0.47) Additionally, when assessing user satisfaction among seabass farmers from the Ban Bo Suan Community, Hua Khao Subdistrict, Singhanakhon Municipality, Songkhla Province, it was observed that the developed system garnered the highest level of satisfaction (x̄=4.52, S.D.=0.44) among the 10 individuals who participated in the evaluation.
