The Development of Information System for Security Business : A Case study of Sa-Mun-Ma-Neuang Part., Ltd.

Abstract

Sa-Mun-Ma-Neuang Part., Ltd. provides recruitment services for security guards and cleaning maids personnel to government agencies and state-owned enterprises. Currently, there is no system for organizing important documents and no information system that can be promptly presented to management for future planning. The purposes of the research were to 1) Develop of Information System for Security Business: A Case study of Sa- Mun- Ma- Neuang Part. , Ltd. , 2 ) Evaluate the quality of information system by information system specialist and 3) Evaluate the users' technology acceptance towards the information system based on the TAM model. The system development was developed using PHP as language code programming, phpMyAdmin used as a database manager and MySQL as a database. The research using Waterfall Model as Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The research instrument are 1) Evaluate the quality of information system by 3 information system specialist and 2) users' technology acceptance towards the information system based on the TAM model, Target group are buyer and seller of 10 users. The research result finds that 1 ) Information System for Security Business: A Case study of Sa-Mun-Ma-Neuang Part., Ltd. The system can manage internal information that is useful for providing services to customers, such as information of security guards and cleaning maids personnel, quotations forms, procurement forms, receipts 2) The result of quality of information system were rated at the highest level (????̅ = 4.69, S.D. = 0.46) and 3) The result of users’ acceptance technology were rated at high level (????̅ = 4.27, S.D. = 0.44).
