Innovation to encourage SMEs by using blockchain technology

This research aims to develop a platform for small entrepreneurs (Dealer) in trading goods with blockchain technology by a study from a cosmetic company. In this study bases on the software development cycle that consists of problems definition, feasibility study, user requirement, system analyze and design, software testing, evaluation, and users’ satisfaction evaluation. The results from an online questionnaire of 20 buyers who bought skin care products online and 6 dealers. The buyers concerned about the product standards and the reliability of the dealers that lead to the sales of dealers are reduced. The development of a cosmetic trading platform for dealers through https://dealerstd.com/ consists of 1. Membership system 2. Shop management system by WooCommerce 3. Identity verification by TimeStamp under Blockchain 4. Query system 5. Online payment system via Omise. 6. Digital token named Odet Rewards Token ( ORW) for redeeming benefits via Metamask wallet of Ethereum. The software testing is grade A. i.e., 89 percent good performance, and 95 percent good website structure. The satisfaction evaluates from a sample of 39 users, The respondents know blockchain technology and are confident in their data security, scoring the highest marks. 48.7%. Simple for users is the highest in terms of performance with an average score of 4.31 out of 5. The layout is easy to use and rated the highest in terms of aesthetics with an average score of 4.30 out of 5. It can be concluded that the result from this study promotion innovation for SMES using blockchain technology. On-going research, to follow the dealer sales through the platform which is possible to increase sales. Due to the platform can confirm the product standards and the creditability of dealers.
