Web Application Development of Research Database Management System Maejo University - Phrae Campus

The objective of the research was to develop the web application for research database management system of Maejo University- Phrae Campus. Microsoft SQL SERVER and ASP.NET programming language) were applied to design and develop the web application based on the System Developing Life Cycles (SDLC). The system development resulted in 3 parts of web application that included 1) the system administrators who were responsible for recording research data, 2) instructors and researchers who utilized the research, 3) general users who searched data and reported annual research budget. The results of the satisfaction assessment towards the used of the developed system showed that 1) the satisfaction of system administrators was at the highest level (mean score = 4.85+0.34) 2) the satisfaction of the instructors and researchers were at a high level (mean score = 4.03±0.08) and 3) the satisfaction of students and other users were at the highest level (mean score = 4.26±0.04). Therefore, it could be concluded that the web application for research database management system of Maejo University- Phrae Campus could be applied to respond the educational service and research affairs needs in searching research and reporting data via both computer and smartphones.
