Abstract

This research is to develop the hemp database system of Maejo University, web application platform and information system for medicinal plant education, teaching for medicinal plants student, study research in medicine and others. The data was collected from document and experts of the medicinal plant science program in Faculty of Agricultural Production and other source. It is developed by ASP.NET language, Microsoft SQL Server database management. For analysis and design system use the system development life cycle or SDLC, use case diagram to support system design, component diagrams to design the database and the site map of website. The results of the system found that the web application consists of 2 main parts: 1) the front page part for general user to display information about the history, herbal information, hemp news, hemp research and the link hemp websites 2) the back end part for the administrator who manage the content of the system, the database and website structure. The URL of web browser as https://hemp.mju.ac.th The results of the satisfaction assessment in the website using by collecting data from 75 persons were at high level of overall satisfaction with the mean score of 4.19 and standard deviation of 0.52. It indicates that this developed system can work with even more efficiency and easy to use.
