Introducing Motion Graphics in Preventing of Cervical Cancer

Abstract

Cervical cancer remains the most common cancer leading cause of cancer deaths among Thai women. According to a 2015 report of The Ministry of Public Health found that cervical cancer is the first cause of the deaths. Motion graphics is the introduction of textual information which are presented in various forms and creativity. It can be done in various functions, such as telling story, summarize, analyze, express the information in a simple way. This research aims to educate cervical cancer and study of users' satisfaction towards graphical media. The sample of the study was the women in Nongpaklong Subdistrict, Muang, Nakhon Pathom. The research instrument tool was a questionnaire. The data were analyzed using percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The results of the study revealed that 351 women had higher knowledge of cervical cancer and their satisfactions were in the high level. The mean score was 4.73 and the standard deviation was 0.55. In conclusion, the present study aimed to educate women cervical cancer and its symptom warnings. The graphical motion consisted of images, animations, and various sounds so that the graphic motion were interesting.
