The Development of a Line Chatbot for Monitoring Tuberculosis Patients

The purpose of this research is to 1) develop a Line Chatbot for monitoring Tuberculosis Patients 2) find out the efficiency of a Line Chatbot for monitoring Tuberculosis Patients, and 3) study the user’s satisfaction when using a Line Chatbot for monitoring Tuberculosis Patients. The user sample for research is personnel working in the Disease Prevention and Control, Region 10 Ubon Ratchathani Province, Tuberculosis Patients and caregivers, 35 people, and purposive sampling. Develop by technology: Line application, Line Developer account Webhook program, and using computer language programs: PHP, HTML, and JavaScript. The web browser program used Google Chrome. The web server used Apache. The research instruments were a Chatbot system and an evaluation of user satisfaction based on Likert methods. Five computer experts evaluated the system quality by black box testing. The statistical instruments were mean and standard deviation. A chatbot for monitoring tuberculosis patients can work efficiently on the Internet. It is easily accessible via smartphones and can be used to support operations. The findings on the efficiency of a chatbot indicated that overall, the user’s satisfaction was at the highest level. (= 4.49) The findings of the evaluation of the user’s satisfaction with the Chatbot system indicated that overall, the user’s satisfaction was at a high level. (= 4.36).
