Using Blog to Support Learning and Teaching in Course Web Technology

Abstract

This research aims to develop learning management plan using blog to support in course Web Technology with a required efficiency of 75/75, to compare learning achievement of the first-year students with learning by using blog and the conventional, and to found students’ satisfaction. The sample used in the study consisted of 30 firstyear students of the Faculty of Information Technology. Three types of the instruments used in the research. The statistics used for analyzing the collected data were mean and standard deviation. The results of the research were as follows : 1) The learning plan using blog in course Web Technology had an efficiency of 80.33/79.33 higher than the benchmark 75/75 criteria2) The students who learned by blog compare the conventional show learning achievement differently significant at the 0.01 level. 3) The students who learned by blog had satisfaction at a high level.
