The Use of Google Workspace to Support the Work of Operational Personnel in Thai Higher Education institutes

Abstract

The use of google workspace to support the work of operational personnel In Thai higher education institutes is an innovative technology that helps increase the work efficiency of operational personnel. From a literature review on the use of google workspace to support the work of operational personnel In Thai higher education institutes. The use of google workspace consisting of activity notification and meeting room booking via Google Calendar, job workspace system, questionnaire using Google Form, department document management system with Google Docs, database management with Google Sheet, Google meet meeting system, Google drive document storage and other services. All features can manage work efficiently resulting in google workspace a reduction of steps and time in time spent working together with a variety of applications.The objectives of research to 1 ) study the use of google workspace to support the work of operational personnel In Thai higher education institutes 2) To evaluate performance about the use of google workspace to support the work of operational personnel In Thai higher education institutes 3) To study the opinions of experts on the use of google workspace to support the work of operational personnel In Thai higher education institute and 4) To study acceptance and implementation about the use of google workspace to support the work of operational personnel In Thai higher education institutes. The samples under research were divided into 2 group. These group were 1) a group of 10 information technology experts or knowledge about the use of related technologies 2) Group of operational personnel in Thai government agencies, totaling 11 people comprised of 1 university administrators, and 10 general administration officer. An overall a sample 21 person. The research instrument was a questionnaire to assess the appropriateness about the use. of google workspace to support the work of operational personnel In Thai higher education institutes The statistics used in the research were mean and standard deviation. The test was done by black box testing. The results of the performance evaluation by experts were at a mean of 3.60 and a standard deviation of 0.66, and the overall opinions of experts were at a good level. The evaluation by experts was at a mean of 3.65 and a standard deviation of 0.68, and the results of the evaluation of acceptance and implementation were at a high level of appropriateness, with a mean of 4.42 and a standard deviation of 0.53, meaning that the use of google workspace to support the work of operational personnel in Thai higher education institutions can support work task.
