Abstract

This research aimed to 1) develop and evaluate the quality of a Roblox game presenting learning resources about Chiang Mai Moat and 2) assess user satisfaction with the Roblox game presenting these learning resources. The participants in this study were 68 students in lower secondary school from Ban Muang Kued School in Mae Taeng District, Chiang Mai Province, who participated in knowledge dissemination activities for the Kued Chang community, including teachers and students in the Kued Chang area at Ban Muang Kued School. The research instruments included 1) the Roblox game that presents learning resources about Chiang Mai Moat, 2) a quality evaluation form, and 3) a user satisfaction survey. The research findings were as follows: 1) The Roblox game presenting learning resources about Chiang Mai Moat simulated Chiang Mai in a 3D virtual environment, showcasing the area around Chiang Mai Moat, including its five city gates, four corners, and temples within the moat. Each location was presented as a model that players could explore, allowing them to navigate through the virtual space as if they were visiting the actual sites. The game included graphics-based historical information on each location and knowledge ̅ = 4.70, S.D. = 0.33). and 2) quizzes.
